Ultrasound test for early pregnancy (week 7-8)
The test examines the existence of a fetal pulse, determines the stage of pregnancy, the number of fetuses and their location. In the case of twins, their degree of identity is examined.
Nuchal translucency (week 11-13)
This test measures the thickness of the fluid at the back of the fetus’ neck. Abnormal buildup of fluid could indicate an increased risk of chromosomal abnormalities (such as Down syndrome), structural abnormalities and rare genetic problems.
